Happy New Year Everyone! May this new year all your dreams turn into reality and all your efforts into great achievements!

The Stocker's Ball

I am currently working on a series of manipulations entitled "The Stocker's Ball". This Series of manipulations is a tribute dedicated to all of the wonderful stockers located here on DA but especially to Pirate Queen. It was one of PirateQueen's stock images that inspired me to create my very first manipulation and join the DA community and since then I have had enjoyed countless hours creating other manipulations. Unfortunately, much to my dismay, PirateQueen has very recently closed her stock account due to continuous theft of her stock images. Her stock will be sorrily missed by many! Pictured below are Parts II and IV of the series which are entitled “The Ballroom” and "Smoker's Corner". The remaing four pieces will be uploaded during the month of January.




"CSS" aka "CHRONIC STRESS SYNDROME"

I decided in mid December to challenge myself to learn CSS because I really wanted have a more personalized journal before I uploaded any more manipulations. I figured since I was pretty good at html already it would be fairly easy for me to learn. Boy was I ever wrong! The more I read on it the more confused I became! I don't think anything has ever frustrated or confused me so much! Finally last night everything just clicked and I now get it! :dance: I am so very happy about this since I haven't done anything else in the area of creativity since taking on my personal CSS headache. It seems so simple now that it just amazes me how long it took me to understand it! It must be related to getting older! LOL!
